I think you should go with the white one, because the white ones look elegant with iPad 2 Accessories.
Black color is so not pretty.

So now with the Smart Cover will you still need a full case? I've not had ipad 2 so I'm totally new to the iPad 2 Accessories side of things. I've seen some covers, like daytimer covers for your ipad. Just wondered if the Smart Cover will be all you need.

Go with what you prefer (do you really need to poll?). I always suggest pink iPad 2 Keyboards for those that can't decide but it's, unfortunately, not an option

The iPad 2 Docks does blend in with the screen better with that thin black border around the screen.

For me, personally, I just love the look of the white, because it's so different. I bought a white iPad 2, and switched from a black iPhone 4 to a white 4s. You don't see as much white as you do black. Again, personal preference. Gotta go with your gut!
